It’s been 16 days since our last blog, we’v been so busy. We decided to move inland to countryside. We’v just had a lovely time in Malaga and Belamadena meeting up with our friends Dedie and John. 😊.
So off we went to Alhama de Granada a beautiful small town in middle of nowhere. Alhama is Perched on top of a gorge surrounded by fields of olive and almond groves, and steeped in history. lots of hikers come to walk down the gorge on the signposted tracks. It was once ruled by the Moors so it has a very eastern feel. We enjoyed walking around the Town seeing all the old architecture. Not meny tourist here thats what we like. So we stayed a couple of days.

Next day we decided to tour around some of the villages in this region. Arenas del Rey Village is on a big lake with a beach lots of camping around here busy in summer. Next we drove up the Sierra Tried mountain range we stopped at the top and had a coffee and enjoyed the view. Alcautin is a very small and peacefully village and very steep
