The weather has been good, between 16 and 23 degrees daytime, at night it can get very cold. We have settled in well here in Rincon we’ve met lots of different nationalities German, Dutch, Belgium, Danish, Swiss, and a few English we’ve had some interesting conversations at the 5 o’clock club in the little on-site outside bar. Our campsite only holds 38 motorhomes and is full up, most of the sites along the Costa del sol are full of northern Europeans escaping the cold northern winter. Another reason why Spain’s campsites are so full is that no ferries are running from Spain to Morocco for the last few months because of a disagreement between the two countries. Hundreds of motor homers go to Morocco in the winter where the weather is even warmer than in Spain. When the ferries are working.

We have been taking it easy onsite the last three days it has been about 20 ° very nice. We had a party in Terry and Gails American RV a lovely big van the beer and wine were flowing 🍾🍹. The next day we decided to take the van for a run to Malaga and Benalmadena to check out a couple of new aires we’ve read about and do some shopping. The aires turned out to be great so we may be going to stay there after we leave Rincon. We stopped off at Malaga Beach and had a picnic and walk along the beach. Costa del sol is known to be the warmest part of Europe in the winter it certainly is today it’s 21 °. We have another two weeks left here in Rincon. We got a email from a friend Keith who we met in Spain two years ago he lives in Belgium he’s travelling around Spain in his motorhome at the moment so he’s coming to join us for few days nice to meet up with Keith again we visited him at is home two years ago. He is English and married to a Belgian girl.

We have been here now for over two weeks we’ve had a great time, the weather has been good to us although it’s been cold on a night. We have met some lovely people, most nights we meet up for a drink and a chat. We all went out for a meal one afternoon to a restaurant along the Mediterranean sea on a beautiful hot sunny day.

When we leave here we’ll be going travelling to Gibraltar for a couple of days, then into the mountains visiting some of the beautiful villages / towns Antequera, Cordoba, Granada, Sevilla, Sargenta Chorro, and Castell De Ferro. But we’ve still got 10 days left here so next week we’re going to use public transport and our bikes to visit some interesting local places around Rincon.
